• One of my older projects, but included here for posterity:
  
  In 2003, I had the honor of collaborating and being mentored by legendary designers Lella and Massimo Vignelli on a minimalist redesign of a mutual client's online store - Carolee.com.
  
  As Carolee's longtime brand stewards, the Vignellis were very generous with their time and provided extensive creative input to ensure my designs met their exacting standards.
  
  Our design process included an initial review of my preliminary work by Massimo and Lella, followed by a memorable series of one-on-one design sessions with Lella – brainstorming potential color palettes, grid layouts and geometry – as I translated Lella's conceptual ideas into practical, buildable e-commerce designs.
  
  In the end, the design we settled on was clean, elegant and minimalist - and it's still one of my absolute favorites. Truly an inspiring, formative experience I'll never forget.
